The Bluewater is Calling

Our offshore trips offer two options, bottom fishing or trolling depending upon the time of year and species being targeted. You can always choose to spend the last few hours of a trolling trip bottom fishing.

On these Bluewater trips, we are fishing between 45-80 miles from the inlets in mostly 120-200 feet of water. The typical day will start by leaving the dock before sunrise and catching live bait 10-20 miles offshore. The next run is 40-60 miles in deeper water but once we make it out the distance between fishing areas will only be a few miles.

The HCO Offshore Experience

The targeted species will vary by what’s in season. There is always something to catch! Any of our 12 hour offshore trips will be a grocery run, so you’ll want to have a cooler at the dock ready to bring home your catch.

When we get back to the dock, our crew will cut and bag any fish kept. For groups staying in the All-Inclusive St. Augustine Tour package, you’ll head back to the house for drinks and refreshments while the fish is cleaned and cooked for dinner.
